The Grammar School for Girls Wilmington

This October the school will be celebrating its 50th birthday. For several months, a committee of year 10 students, ex-students, staff and governors have been meeting to discuss possible ways to commemorate this event. So far, we have decided on a non-school uniform day where each year group dresses up as a different decade. Also, we are organising a disco on Friday 17th October, where present and past students, parents and staff are invited. A more detailed programme to follow but make a note of the date! 

In addition to events, we are in the process of organising a display of photos and memorabilia to mark our 50 years. If you are a former student as well as being a parent you may have something to contribute – if so – we would love to hear from you.
