The Grammar School for Girls Wilmington

The school attaches great importance to the quality of regular assemblies. There is a programme of Key Stage, Year group, House and Form group assemblies to which students are invited to lead and contribute. The school has no affiliation to any religious denomination. Religious education is part of the core curriculum.

Parents have a statutory right to withdraw their daughter from religious assemblies and Religious Education lessons by request to the Headteacher. Students withdrawn from assemblies and lessons will normally do supervised work in the library.
